It was never about the house, it's about the people in it

Homebase started as a surf coliving house in Hiriketiya, Sri Lanka. We lost the house. We kept everyone who'd ever stayed in it.

This spring it's Morocco's turn:

One month, six to ten people, and Soufia, who grew up here and still knows which souk stall sells the good olives. Mornings are the ocean's. Afternoons are yours. Evenings belong to a long table, more food than you can finish, and people you'll still be texting a year from now.

What the month looks like

A rhythm of surf, work and real Moroccan life

Everything is built so your work stays on track and the rest of the month stays wide open.

01 - SURFING

Surf, most mornings

A local surf school matches every session to your level, board and all. First time standing up or ten years in the water, you're covered.

02 - COWORKING

Your work, handled

We've done the homework so you don't spend your mornings hunting for signal. You have real deadlines and we respect that.

03 - FOOD

Moroccan food, the way Moroccans eat it

Soufia built this part herself. Souk runs where you choose what goes in the pot, then cook it together. Food tours through the city. A handful of restaurants that don't show up on a map search. Family dinners with a table too long for the room. Tagine, fresh bread off the coals, mint tea, sardines straight off the grill.

04 - PILATES + HAMMAM

Slow down, weekly

A Pilates session to give your body a break from the swell. And the hammam: the Moroccan way to press reset. You literally shed skin. Be ready to meet the new you.

05 - WEEKEND TRIPS

Fez, Chefchaouen & the coast

Trips out to Fez, one of the world's great medieval cities, and Chefchaouen, the blue city tucked in the Rif mountains.

06 - COMMUNITY

A real connection

Everyone stays the full month, no rotating cast. That's what makes the in-jokes land and the conversation pick up exactly where it left off. Show up when you want company. Step away when you want quiet.

Your way into Morocco

Moroccan, multilingual, has worked remotely for
7 years and cooks like she never left home. She'll know
which café table is good for a 9am call and
which one isn't, and she won't let you
order the tourist menu twice.
